Hello and a warm welcome to my blog. You’re visiting my site because you’re curious about life coaching, which is why I wanted to use this first blog post to explain the coaching experience and how I work with people to gain clarity about themselves and achieve their goals.
Life coaching in a nutshell
During our introductory session, I will really take the time to get to know you and help you decide on the goals you want to focus on. Based on your needs, budget, and what you hope to get out of coaching, I will suggest a tailored session plan.
The life coaching experience is creative, thought-provoking and collaborative. While I will offer advice and guidance, ultimately the process is led by you and your aims. The environment I create in each session is non-judgmental and supportive; I’m here to listen and support you while giving gentle guidance and providing you with the tools you need to become your true, authentic self.
Sessions are conducted over FaceTime, Zoom and WhatsApp video.
Who is life coaching for?
Life coaching is for anyone who wants to make positive changes in their life. Whether that’s improving their self-confidence, building better relationships (or moving on from a relationship that’s ended), or fulfilling a career ambition.
Is it like therapy?
There’s an important distinction to be made between therapy and life coaching. Life coaching, while a valuable tool for exploring your thoughts and feelings, should not be used as a substitute for professional mental health care. It is, however, a powerful way to develop insights about yourself as a person and work towards important life goals.
